Welcome to The Infinity Program, a general discussion forum. As the founder, one of my goals is to maintain this community even as others fall to the wayside. Also, I want to encourage engaging conversation by regularly submitting new topics that contain thoughts and insights rather than just aggregated material (if even that).

If you are a first time visitor and want to know more about this place, read the “Guide,” “A Short History of the Forum,” and the highly entertaining “A Brief History of the Universe.” Alternatively, if you want to submit feedback, contact us.

I'd hardly call Helmet a metal band, but they rule. A bassist I used to play with got to jam with Page Hamilton.

I'm in a power metal mood today.

Iced Earth - My Own Savior

Ufych Sormeer - Scary Manor

WarCry - Señor

Tierra Santa - Barón Rojo

Demons & Wizards - Crimson King

Kamelot - We Three Kings

Powerglove - Power Rangers Theme

For Helmet, I would say that it depends on the period of their music you are listening to. They are categorized really as Alternative metal or Heavy Metal.

I tend to not like Power Metal and especially Ice Earth if it's their original work (they do a lot of cover though).
